Rangers are already set to receive more than £7.2m for their Europa League exploits – with more yet to come for the Ibrox club.
According to the official UEFA prize pot guidelines, Rangers have raised a whopping €8,414,300, or £7,237,157 – so far at least.
A combination of qualification bonuses and win and draw bonuses means Rangers have raked in the dramatic total, before TV money and gate receipts are even considered.

According to the Europa League guidelines, Rangers are set to receive the following bonuses:
QR1 – €240,000
QR2 – €260,000
QR3 – €280,000
Redistributed draws: €190,000
Group Stage qualification: – €2,920,000
Two Wins – €1,140,000
Three Draws – €570,000
2nd in Group: €500,000
R 32: €500,000
R 16: €1,100,000
10 year bonus: €714,300
Total €8,414,300
The final total will make for particularly interesting reading, with Rangers still to play Bayer Leverkusen and still very much in the tournament.
Considering the club have enjoyed four bumper gates during qualification, a further three in group stages and another in the round of 32, Rangers will bank a pretty penny off ticket sales.
If you average 50,000 seats at £30-40 a ticket, and excluding matchday costs etc, it ranges from £1.5m-£2m per match.

By the end of this tournament we’ll have had at least eight European matches at Ibrox this season, so by these calculations, Rangers could rake in anywhere between £12-16m from the home ties.
Please note that these are exceptionally rough estimations and don’t represent what the final figure will be.
The club has also been boosted by the news it’ll receive a larger share of the TV money from the round of 16 ties after rivals Celtic dropped out of the tournament [Daily Record].

Rangers will receive all of the Scottish share of the £13.4m which is shared out for television coverage of the Europa League last 16.
And that’s before we talk about Rangers’ share of the main €168m television market pool for the group stage.
