Rangers players Glenn Middleton, Lewis Mayo, and Ben Williamson have been called up to the Scotland under 21 squad ahead of the Euro 2021 qualifiers against Turkey and Kazakhstan at the end of the month.
All three players have featured for the U21s before so the occasion shouldn’t intimidate them as Scotland currently occupies the third spot in the group having only won one of their previous four matches.

The ties against Turkey and Kazakhstan represent an opportunity for the team to get their form back on track as these sides are sitting in fourth and fifth position.

All three players are currently out on loan at the moment, having a varying degree of success. Middleton is in his second loan stint at St Johnstone following a successful spell last campaign where he helped the side win the domestic double.
He has struggled so far this season, contributing only one goal and two assists as the Perth side is in a relegation battle. The future looks uncertain for his chances at Ibrox.
Mayo has impressed at Partick Thistle as the club is challenging for a spot in the Premiership and the centre back has a bright future in the game.
The same goes for Williamson, who despite not having much of an impact at Livingston in the first six months of the season, has been getting regular game time at Raith Rovers.

All three could play an important part of the U21 squad in the two upcoming matches, and Scotland will be aiming to make it six points out of six if they want to put pressure on second-place Denmark.
Meanwhile, former Rangers star Greg Stewart has helped lead Jamshedpur to their first major honour.
