There are set to be a few more Rangers signings yet this window with at least three being linked to the club, according to reports across the country.
The three players in question are Glen Kamara, Matt Polster and Ryan Kent. Interestingly they are all connected to the club already.
But the same can’t be said of Kamara. Dundee boss Jim McIntyre hinted on Sky Sports News, as quoted in the Sun, that talks are ongoing for bringing the Glen Kamara deal forward.
“I think when a player signs a pre-contract, nine times out of 10 he would rather move on,” said McIntyre.
“Everybody is aware of that, discussions are ongoing.”
Ryan Kent deal would be a major coup by the club
Reputable club insider Four Lads Had a Dream broke the news Rangers were moving for Kent a couple of days ago.
The player himself spoke about being open to the move. Still only 22 and with bags of potential, this could be a huge deal for Rangers.
As for Matt Polster, he continues to train with the club in Tenerife. American Soccer Now reported Rangers had offered the right midfielder a deal, but they also said the same about Andrew Gutman.
My gut tells me he’s still trying to earn an offer. But the ex-Chiacago Fire man and USA cap could prove a strong signing for Rangers.
Between loans for Davis and Defoe and the Kamara and Jones pre-contracts, there have been four Rangers signings this window.
These reports suggest there could yet be more to come.
