American international Matt Polster has linked up with the Rangers squad in Tenerife as he tries to win an Ibrox contract.
Polster spent time on trial with Rangers last month and has shown Steven Gerrard enough to merit another look.

The Chicago Fire star was pictured by the Scottish Sun being put through his paces at the Gers’ Tenerife camp.
Polster’s contract with the MLS side came to an end last month – although the Men in Red would like to keep a hold of the one cap international.
The American can play at right-back or in midfield and would offer the Light Blues a different option to what is currently available.

A consistent, hard-working player, Polster is similar in style to Ryan Jack – although could also fill in as cover for James Tavernier.
With MLS sides returning for pre-season training soon, Gerrard may have to make a decision over Polster’s future imminently.

Following Steve Davis and Jermain Defoe joining the squad this month, Polster would be a strong addition and has regularly impressed for the Fire.
Glen Kamara and Jordan Jones have also signed pre-contracts with the Light Blues.
After overcoming a serious knee injury, a move to Ibrox would be a real step up for the American but he has the ability to be a big success.
