There was always going to be talk about a transfer release clause after Rangers’ main man Alfredo Morelos signed a new deal with the club.
The Colombian is on red-hot form and his 28 goals this season will have plenty of clubs sniffing about him.
But any talk of a £10m, £20m or £30m release clause are miles off the mark. At least according to club insider Four Lads Had a Dream. And being honest, there’s no reason not to trust them.
A rather ill informed man is spreading lies again that Alfredo Moreos has a £10m release clause
To further confirm what the lads at CRO pointed out yesterday
Alfredo has NO release clause in his contract – it doesn’t exist, trying to claim otherwise is complete lies

Not having a transfer release clause means Rangers won’t be held to ransom for their star striker. Signing a new deal at the club simply solidifies the club’s position.
With Sky Sports claiming the likes of Borussia Dortmund are interested and the Daily Express saying Eintracht Frankfurt sent a scout to watch him last night, there’s interest aplenty.
But there was always going to be. The challenge for Rangers now is either keeping the striker happy at the club or ensuring we get top dollar for his services. A Colombian journalist told Rangers News he values him between 20-30m euros.
But whatever happens this summer Rangers will only be expected to sell at a price that matches their valuation of the wee man.
Not at one dictated by a transfer release clause.
