Derek McInnes joined Rangers on Wednesday, and that news has not sat well with STV Radio’s Ewen Cameron.
Cameron, a staunch Hearts supporter, watched his club lose not just their manager but also their top striker and captain, Lawrence Shankland as well.
This came after the Jambos failed to secure a draw on the final day of the season, which would have been enough for them to win the Scottish Premiership.
How many points can Rangers get from their first five league games?
Derek McInnes will be aiming to win the title!
Ewen Cameron upset by Derek McInnes following Hearts’ end to the season
Cameron was upset by the fact that the first time he heard from McInnes was when he spoke about his delight at being Rangers manager.
The STV Football host wanted to hear from the 54-year-old following Hearts losing on the final day of the season.
They went into the game as the team placed first and, despite taking the lead, failed to see the result over the line.
Which Hearts player(s) would you like to see at Rangers next season?
Derek McInnes may be tempted to sign one or two this summer!
The fact that, along with McInnes, Shankland also would not be at Tynecastle next season further fuelled his anger.
He took to X to share a video in which he said: “It’s not been a good month.
“Losing the league on the final day of the season, losing your captain a week later and then here we are today, Derek McInnes is the Rangers manager.
“I’m kind of p***** off with Derek McInnes because I haven’t heard a peep from him since we lost the league, and the first thing we hear from Derek McInnes is him talking about Rangers.”
Will McInnes bring Claudio Braga to Rangers?
Rangers have been linked with Claudio Braga following the news of McInnes taking over at the helm at Ibrox.
The 26-year-old is a forward capable of playing across the frontline and would undoubtedly be someone the Light Blues manager would want at Ibrox.
He helped get the best out of Braga last season, which even saw him being nominated for the Scottish Premiership’s Player of the Season award.
While Hearts would ideally want to keep him at the club, if they get a good offer from the Gers, they may be compelled to sell him.
