Steven Gerrard has praised the performance of makeshift left-back Jon Flanagan in the 3-0 win over Motherwell.
A freed-up Scott Arfield might’ve stolen the headlines with a blistering hat-trick, but Flanno also put in a sturdy shift. It follows on from another solid showing against Hearts in midweek.
