Steven Gerrard has shared his thoughts on Alfredo Morelos, as quoted by the Evening Times.
The 22-year-old striker was the subject of a four-part feature ‘Soy Alfredo’, released by the club on Thursday, which went down a storm with the fans.

It tracked Morelos’ upbringing, family life and football journey up until this point.
He’s a huge fan favourite at Ibrox and with 29 goals this season, has earned recent international recognition with Colombia.

“I think in certain ways he’s misunderstood”, said Gerrard, as quoted by
the Evening Times.
“It was fantastic for Alfredo to do it, I think Alfredo should show the real side of him.
“We know him better than you guys. He is a normal player, he’s a human being and he has feelings.
“Of course, at times he steps over the line and he gets it wrong, but he’s young, he’s naive and he will learn. The film gives everyone a better idea of who he is. I enjoyed it, but then I know him a bit better than most.”

It was an excellent idea and well delivered production from the club.
Hearing about Morelos’ upbringing and the origins of ‘El Bufalo’ was humbling.
Off the field, he’s softly spoken and clearly very focused on his family and enjoying life.
On the field, though, it’s like a switch is flicked and he’s ready to do battle for the shirt.
Let’s hope he can pop up with his first Old Firm goal, on Sunday.
