Rangers legend Steven Davis bows out in style with a classy Instagram message following a stunning Ibrox send-off.
The Ibrox Hall of Famer called time on an extraordinary career in football back in January after his career was cut short at the tender age of 39.
Steven Davis had still been a crucial player for both Rangers and Northern Ireland all the way up to suffering a devastating cruciate ligament injury from which he has struggled to recover.
Given a rapturous reception by Rangers fans ahead of the disappointing 2-1 defeat to Motherwell at Ibrox, the midfielder has now taken to Instagram.

In an emotional Instagram post to supporters, Rangers legend Steven Davis paid tribute to the Ibrox fans for the reception at the stadium.
The Ulsterman also mentioned his son, who relished the opportunity to be a mascot at Ibrox on the day, sharing an image of himself being awarded a special whisky cabinet in front of an adoring tifo.
“Always great to be back at Ibrox, a place full of special memories that’s been a huge part of my families life,” said Davis.
“Thank you for the warm reception, love and support over all the years. Wee man loved the experience of being mascot as well.”
