The SPFL have provided an update to Rangers and Celtic fans ahead of the weekend’s League Cup Final.
The two sides meet for a 3 pm kick-off at Hampden Park in what is a huge occasion for Scottish football.
It’s the first time the Gers will contest the final in nine years and BT Sport have scheduled in nine hours of TV coverage around the game.
Just like at Ibrox, there’s a new ‘access control system’ in place at the ground, which the League association have drawn attention to via a demonstration video, which shows how to successfully gain entry to the stadium.
It’s advised that turnstiles are set to open 90 minutes before kick-off.
What’s more, with ‘enhanced search arrangements’ planned, both sets of supporters have been asked to arrive early.
The SPFL have also shared a preview of the matchday programme, which will be on sale for £5 at the ground.
There are plenty of Bears who missed out on tickets in the ballot, but the tens of thousands who will descend on the national stadium on Sunday afternoon will be hoping to see something special.
After a disappointing draw with Aberdeen in midweek, it’s a chance for the players to stand up and become heroes by ending the long stretch without major silverware.
