Birmingham City boss John Eustace is interested in becoming the next manager of Rangers – but there is no guarantee the club will move for him.
According to Sky Sports, the 43-year-old St Andrews gaffer is one of four coaches who have already expressed an interest in the role.
John Eustace joins ex-Chelsea manager Frank Lampard, AZ Alkmaar boss Pascal Jansen and Yokohama F Marinos manager Kevin Muscat in making their interest known.
It comes after the Daily Mail linked John Eustace as a potential replacement for Michael Beale back in September with the pressure mounting on the now ex-Rangers boss.
John Eustace has been in charge of Birmingham City since the summer of 2022, coming in to replace Lee Bowyer at the English Championship side.
Despite being tipped for relegation to League One, the coach managed to steer the club to their highest points total since 2016 but he has a mixed start to this season.
Birmingham are 12th in a competitive Championship and will harbour ambitions of a Playoff place this season even if John Eustace is reportedly interested in a move to Rangers.

John Eustace had trial at Rangers
Ibrox fans will also remember the former midfielder from an unsuccessful trial period at the club under Mark Warburton in 2015.
Fitness issues prevented the midfielder from ever signing on at Ibrox despite being pictured in training gear and clearly trying to win a contract at Rangers.
John Eustace isn’t the only name being linked to the Rangers job of course, with as many as ten names mentioned as potential candidates in the press.

Amongst them, the likes of Kevin Muscat, Pascal Jansen and Frank Lampard are certainly the most discussed if not the favourites to take up the role.
Rangers are clear they will take their time over the appointment with Ibrox legend Steven Davis to take interim charge of the side for the upcoming matches with AEL Limassol and St Mirren in the Europa League and Scottish Premiership respectively.
