So much of this transfer window has been dominated by the talk surrounding Liverpool winger Ryan Kent.
After a successful season at Ibrox, every murmur, message or status by the club is met with rallying cries of “announce Kent” by supporters.
But after Steven Gerrard warned that the player may not make it back to Glasgow this season [Scottish Sun], have Rangers already got a readymade replacement at the club?

Sheyi Ojo joined on-loan from Liverpool at the beginning of the transfer window and in the weekend’s match against Oxford United showed flashes of what he will bring to the team.
This is a player who has already broken through into the Liverpool first-team. It’s a player who, at 22, is also at a stage where he needs to start impressing regularly.
Encouragingly, Ojo has spoken very fondly of the club already and appears to be settling in very nicely to his surroundings.
Sheyi claims that his arrival at Rangers is the “best initial feeling” he’s ever had at a club [Rangers TV].
A direct, powerful winger with a turn of pace and stylish feet, fans have already been raving about his second-half appearance against Oxford.
Not only did the player cooly find the back of the net after shrugging off a defender, but he left two Oxford stars on the newly laid Ibrox turf in another stunning move.

Whilst it is early days, it looks like Rangers have secured a player real quality in the winger.
And should Ryan Kent remain at Anfield, all the signs suggest that Sheyi Ojo’s presence at the club will certainly soften the blow.
