Hearts got revenge on Rangers loanee and Raith Rovers winger Kai Kennedy as they dumped the hapless 10-men Rovers 4-0 on their own patch.
This came after Raith had earned an impressive 3-2 win over Hearts at Tynecastle at the weekend courtesy of a Man of the Match debut performance from young Kennedy.

The winger, 18, started both Scottish Championship ties but he will have been resolutely disappointed to be on the receiving end of a mauling in Kirkcaldy.
Hearts striker Liam Boyce had the Jambos in front about 10 minutes before half-time before their lead was doubled by Ewan Henderson.
Things would go from bad to worse for Raith after midfielder Regan Hendry saw red only moments later.
A late double from Hearts newboy Armand Gnanduillet would complete the rout as Kennedy completed the full 90-minutes of the humbling at Starks Park.
Hearts clearly wanted revenge from the weekend’s defeat with Raith Rovers let alone Rangers loanee Kennedy not even managing a shot in the entire game.
The result keeps Hearts top of the Scottish Championship on 30 points whilst Raith Rovers – who has two games in hand on the Tynecastle side – are in 4th on 19.

Kennedy continues to impress in the Championship after a successful first half of the season on loan at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
The winger signed a new deal at Rangers in January and the club’s supporters lauded the youngster at the weekend for his performance in Raith’s 3-2 victory.
