Rangers winger Glenn Middleton is a loan target for Scottish Premiership sides St. Mirren and Ross County, according to reports.
The Daily Record [08/01/20 p.48] is claiming the two clubs are set to do battle for the signature of Middleton who is back at Ibrox following a disappointing loan spell at Hibs.
The Scottish Sun is also claiming that NAC Breda – who were in for the former Norwich youth in the summer [Andy Newport] – and two unnamed English clubs are interested in the 20-year-old.

Middleton burst onto the scene last season with an explosive first half of the campaign which saw the winger rack up five goals by Christmas.
Those strikes included one in the 4-3 Europa League defeat away to Spartak Moscow and a double in the 7-1 humbling of Motherwell in November 2018.
A dip in form inevitably followed for the youngster and he didn’t have quite the same impact in the second half of the campaign.
The loan deal to Hibs was intended to give the youngster minutes and was his own personal choice over a move to Dutch outfit NAC Breda [Capital City Press].

But as Hibs toiled in the first half of the season Middleton saw limited game time at Easter Road and was eventually sent back to Ibrox after the sacking of Paul Heckingbottom and appointment of Jack Ross.
Rangers will now be hoping to find a more suitable move for the youngster as he looks to kickstart his season after the winter break.
