Rangers winger Glenn Middleton set for NAC Breda loan move - report

Rangers winger Glenn Middleton is “very close to going on loan in Holland”, according to Gers gaffer Steven Gerrard, with his destination reportedly NAC Breda.

The talented 19-year-old broke through into the Rangers side last season making 28 appearances for the first team and scoring five goals.
The left winger also assisted another five, but with increased competition at Ibrox the player prepares for a new challenge in his development.
Steven Gerrard praises the youngster’s courage for taking on the challenge, whilst also praising the opportunity to play in front of passionate supporters.

NAC Breda play in the Dutch second tier (Eerste Divisie) with their Rat Verlegh stadium housing an impressive 19k fans.
The winger will be expecting to play a big part in the team’s charge for promotion this season and the move is a great one for his technical development.
Should the deal go through, let’s hope the highly-rated talent comes back an even better player.
Middleton previously looked all set to move to League One side Doncaster Rovers [Daily Record] before the Keepmoat club lost manager Grant McCann to Championship Hull City.
Since then Middleton has been linked with a move to Coventry and Hull City, with Tigers boss Grant McCann known to be an admirer.

McCann would then tell reporters that any link to the winger was just “speculation” [Hull Live] and never confirmed if Hull City were interested.
Now, it looks like the former Norwich City youth is set for a move to NAC Breda instead.
