Rangers legend Craig Moore has inspired a host of reports regarding Rangers and Scott McTominay after making a suggestion for the Man Utd star.
The Australian centre-back was speaking on GO Radio after the Old Trafford star stole the show at Hampden with a historic double in the 2-0 Scotland victory over Spain.

And with chances a premium at Old Trafford, Craig Moore reckons Scott McTominay would be a good fit for Rangers if the Premier League giants could cover his wages.
As a result, the comments have spawned multitudes of reports and got tongues wagging amongst supporters about how a potential switch to Ibrox would work.
Craig Moore tips Scott McTominay for Rangers switch
“Scott McTominay may look at options next season, he would be great for Rangers,” said Craig Moore.
Absolutely amazing because he has the physicality and presence. He does the simple things well. He’s not a fancy player but he does the basics so well.
“I don’t know what Rangers are looking at it at the moment but to get someone like McTominay – and it would be a loan because that is the only way a deal would be possible. Man United would probably swallow a large part of that bill if it were possible.
“It would make more sense for a loan scenario to be in Scotland, and maybe Rangers, because domestically Man United wouldn’t want to strengthen their competitors.”
So far this season Scott McTominay has made 32 appearances for the Red Devils, so whilst Craig Moore has suggested Rangers we reckon the midfielder has a place at Old Trafford yet.
There is set to be a summer of change at Ibrox under Michael Beale but whether the club’s transfer budget could stretch to include a Premier League midfielder we’ll have to wait and see.
Whilst this is the first mention of Scott McTominay, the Rangers boss has claimed he has five players in his sights.
