Remarkably, it’s the £1.58 million valued winger’s fifth loan spell away from his parent club.
Stints at Coventry City, Barnsley, Freiburg and Bristol City, preceded this one.
In his time at those clubs, he mustered just four league goals.
Over the first few months of this season, it looked like it would be more of the same.
Lots of pace and trickery in wide areas, but very little to show for it in the final third.
In his first sixteen appearances for the Gers, he found the net just once.

Injury also halted his progress, with separate hamstring problems writing off most of November and a chunk of December.
Goals and assists are now flowing
Yet, since his return in the Old Firm win, he has looked rejuvenated.
He was sensational against Celtic and far too much to handle for experienced campaigner, Mikael Lustig.
He assisted the winner on that day, and has picked up where he left off after the break.
While most of his teammates struggled at Kilmarnock, Kent looked lively.
Since then, he has two in two.
As a wide player, that isn’t a ratio he could reasonably be expected to maintain.
However, a direct involvement in three goals in his last four games is a sign of a real improvement.
Kent has become one of the first names on the team sheet under Gerrard, and undoubtedly has a huge role to play across the remainder of the season.
