Rumoured Rangers target Ravel Morrison scores on Ostersunds debut

One-time rumoured Rangers target Ravel Morrison has scored on his debut for new club Ostersunds.
The controversial attacking midfielder told The Times he spoke to Gerrard in January about the possibility of joining Rangers. The former Lazio player sparked wild rumours by following the club and several key figures on Instagram.
But for whatever reason Morrison ended up in Sweden where he’s got his Ostersunds career off to a flyer.

The midfielder takes the goal very nicely as it bounces in the box, rifling it into the back of the net. It’s just a glimpse of the player that Sir Alex Ferguson rated amongst the best he ever coached.
Things never worked out for Morrison at Manchester United after well documented off the field troubles.
He eventually went to West Ham and then a host of lower league English clubs before moving to Italy. Again, his career stalled as he struggled for gametime.
After a spell in Mexico the next move was always going to be all important for Morrison. Still only 26, there’s still time for the attacking midfielder to leave an impression on the game.

By scoring on his Ostersunds debut he’s certainly on the right track to do that. He joined the Swedish side in February on a short term contract.
But is this a player Rangers should’ve moved for when they had the chance?
