Rangers midfielder Scott Arfield is continuing his fine form of late with another impressive performance against Hearts in the 5-0 victory on Sunday.
Arfield even grabbed a goal, his second in four matches, as the Gers responded excellently following the defeat to Celtic in midweek and proved the title race is well and truly on.

His performances under Giovanni van Bronckhorst have been excellent, especially considering his indifferent start to the season before Steven Gerrard left the club.
With the former Canadian international’s contract expiring at the end of the season, Gio has a decision that needs to be made sooner rather than later, or we can lose the 33-year-old for free in the summer.
Scott Arfield contract talks are in the early stages as he wants to remain at the club
Arfield has recently declared he “loves being part of this football club” and this could only mean good news on his future.
The midfielder also revealed that his agent is “talking to the club” as there are reportedly other clubs interested in the player.
Turkish sides Alanyaspor and Hatayspor have been linked with Arfield recently [DailyRecord], as a reunion with ex-Gers teammate Daniel Candeias at the former was mooted.
With these continued fine performances, it is no wonder the player is attracting interest from overseas, and whilst a move to Turkey could be financially lucrative, a chance at more silverware and potential Champions League football should be enough to convince him to stay.
Arfield knows the club well having been at Ibrox for nearly four years and you can see the desire and hunger every time he plays. Out of all the players against Celtic, only he and Ryan Jack received any sort of pass marks, and he will be determined to not let a result like that happen again.

Hopefully, van Bronckhorst and Ross Wilson can sit down and sort a new contract out for Arfield, he deserves it.
