Lee Wallace was the subject of much conversation at Rangers AGM today, with one shareholder saying Rangers treated him very badly.
Manager Steven Gerrard responded by saying he has “better options in his position”. It remains a small cloud over the club’s playing squad, but is that set to be resolved one way or another come January?
According to leading Sports Journalist Derek Clark we should expect a move by Wigan for Lee Wallace in the coming window.
Wigan boss Paul Cook has today highlighted he’s desperate to bring in a left-back, expect a move for former Rangers skipper Lee Wallace in January #wafc

Lee Wallace a wonderful servant but is time up?
There is no doubt the situation surrounding Lee Wallace is a sore one to take. For both him, and the supporters.
The Scotland international was at the peak of his powers when we tumbled down the divisions. He decided to stick with the club and the former Captain guided us back to where we are.
But following the Murty fall-out – of which it seems the club sided with the Manager – Wallace and Miller’s days were numbered.
The wingback was however offered the chance to make his mark on the squad again.
Gerrard spoke candidly about the player at the club’s AGM, explaining their relationship is “fine” and commending him for “how Lee has gone about his business”.
But it just seems he doesn’t have the quality to get back into the team. However unfortunate the backdrop.
There isn’t a Rangers supporter alive who won’t wish Waldo the best.
But it now looks like he’ll be on his way come January.
