Rangers have been linked with Bright Osayi-Samuel but the Fenerbahce ace ‘can play for a club like Barcelona or Real Madrid’ if he fulfils his potential.
At least, that is the view of former Turkey international Guvenc Kurtar.
A bold statement, perhaps, but the former QPR speedster is certainly making a name for himself in the Super Lig. Osayi-Samuel has blossomed into a rampaging right-back in the yellow-and-black of Fenerbahce.
According to Sporx, there is interest from Rangers.

But, according to Kurtar, Osayi-Samuel could soon be aiming at the very peak of the European game, so long as he is willing to put the work in and build upon his undoubted potential.
“If Osayi-Samuel pushes himself harder,” Kurtar tells A Spor. “He can play for a club like Barcelona or Real Madrid.”
Bright Osayi-Samuel reportedly a Rangers target
A move to Rangers for the 25-year-old Nigeria international feels a lot more unlikely now than it did a few weeks ago. Dujon Sterling’s arrival from Chelsea means Mick Beale now has genuine competition for captain James Tavernier at right-back.
The hope will be, meanwhile, that Abdallah Sima can solve the club’s long-standing right-wing problems further forward. Sima joined on loan from Brighton last week, albeit without an option-to-buy clause in his contract.
Osayi-Samuel is reportedly on the radar of both Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur too. And a move to England’s top-flight would certainly appeal to a player who started his career at Blackpool before establishing himself as one of the EFL’s brightest young talents at Queens Park Rangers.
“The plan for me right now is just to wait and see,” Osayi-Samuel tells Football Live.
“Everyone in Turkey knows that my ambition is to play in the Premier League one day. And if it’s right this summer, then hopefully I will get the right club.
“But, that’s down to my agent and my father who are discussing with the clubs, that’s all I can say for now.”
