Rangers Europa League foes Red Star Belgrade are on an impressive win streak ahead of the Thursday evening clash and this should send a warning to the Gers.
The Serbia side warmed up well for the match with a 5-0 league thrashing over Novi Pazar, in which dangerman Aleksandar Katai hit a hattrick and keeps the side’s title ambitions firmly on track.
This was the club’s seventh consecutive victory in the league and cup, which surely sends a message to the Ibrox side that they pose a dangerous threat
with 15 goals scored and only one conceded, the Ibrox side’s backline will have to be at its very best to withstand the Red Star attacking threat.

Although Rangers haven’t exactly been free-scoring as of late, minus the away victory against Borussia Dortmund, there appears to be a very pragmatic approach to matches recently.
