Rangers star Glen Kamara has been given a spot in the SPFL Team of the Week following his performance against Aberdeen, with his midweek winner over St Johnstone also working in his favour.
This comes despite the Ibrox side labouring to three points on both occasions as the recent toll of matches appears to be affecting the side.

Three points are all that matters at this stage of the season, but a performance to go with it would be nice. The constant drab showings aren’t exactly giving the Rangers faithful much to cheer about.
Rangers Glen Kamara wins a spot in SPFL Team of the Week
Kamara’s performances have been questioned recently as the club has gone through a sticky spell with the midfielder only given 27 minutes in the excellent Europa League aggregate win over Borussia Dortmund and wasn’t even called upon from the bench in the drab draw against Dundee Utd which sandwiched the two ties.
The added rest seems to have given Kamara a boost as he has featured for the 90 minutes in the last three fixtures.
When fit and motivated, the 26-year-old is one of our finest assets, but he hasn’t looked like his former self at certain spells since Giovanni van Bronckhorst arrived.
Hopefully, this recent run of matches will have boosted his confidence as the side stand just eight wins away from retaining our Scottish Premiership crown.
Add to that the fact we are also still in the Scottish Cup and the Europa League and Gio will have to rotate his squad on a regular basis if we are to achieve success.

If Kamara can recapture his form of last season, then it will be difficult for Gio to rotate him out of the starting XI.
Meanwhile, UEFA Youth League opponents Sevilla have been fined following the clash against Rangers.
