Rangers 55th title win was oh so sweet for supporters who’ve taken some amount of nonsense over the last 10 years as the club climbed back up the divisions.
Now back at the top of the Scottish football pyramid, Rangers are Champions again and the seethe levels are threatening to hit fever pitch as the reality of what that means for the game here sets in.

But football is a funny old game and one celebrity Celtic fan who has often stuck the boot in must’ve had the worst birthday of his life on Sunday.
Yes, that’s right, outspoken Celtic support Tommy Sheridan has become something of a comedy figure amongst the Rangers legions and the ex-politician turned 57 on Sunday (born 07/03/1964).
It’s just a shame he didn’t turn 55 – but we can have it all our own way, can we?
Sheridan came to prominence in Scottish footballing circles with an array of videos seemingly created to inspire Celtic supporters to back Neil Lennon this season.
The outspoken fan would also take regular jibes at Rangers – the new club patter amongst his favourite – and was left with egg on his face after every passing game this season.

To top it all off, the big man celebrated a birthday on the day the Gers claimed 55 and we’re sure it’s one that he’ll never forget after a season of outlandish claims and public appeals.
Here’s Rangers fans tearing into the big man for a sarcastic video he made ahead of Celtic’s double-header v Rangers and AC Milan in October – two games they’d lose.
