Rangers fans have been tearing into public figure and high-profile Celtic fan Tommy Sheridan for a video he uploaded in the run up to the weekend’s match.
Sheridan had taken to YouTube to upload a video talking about a “big club” and a big match for which he was “nervous”, initially hinting it was with Rangers before saying it was AC Milan.
Celtic are set to play the Italians on Thursday and Sheridan was attempting to land a dig on Rangers with the comments, describing the Gers derby as a “practice match”.
Obviously, things did not go to plan for Sheridan and the Celtic support as Rangers resoundingly beat Celtic 2-0 without ever really getting out of third gear.
The Ibrox side stretched their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership to four points with their Old Firm rivals having a game in hand.

The fall-out from the match has been considerable and the Rangers support have already gunned for ex-Celtic striker Chris Sutton for comments he made in the aftermath of the game.
Now, they’ve taken to Twitter to goad Sheridan for his short-sighted attempts at getting under the skin of Rangers fans in the run up to the match:

Rangers ran out comfortable winners over Celtic at Celtic Park with vice-captain centre back Connor Goldson netting a double to secure all three points and send the bears home happy.
