Rangers have appeared to take aim at Old Firm rivals Celtic as they plug the matchday programme for the clash with the Eastend club this weekend.
The Gers are set to welcome Celtic to Ibrox for the final Old Firm clash of the season as Steven Gerrard’s side looks to maintain their unbeaten league run this campaign.

And ahead of the game via the club’s official website the Gers have taken a cheeky dig at our rivals by describing them as the “other half of the Old Firm”.
“Rangers take on the other half of the Old Firm in the Scottish Premiership on Sunday at Ibrox,” reads the webpage.
“Inside this weekend’s issue you can read Steven Gerrard and James Tavernier’s manager and captain’s columns as well as exclusive interviews with Ryan Kent and Leon Balogun.
“Kent reflects on the club’s incredible title-winning campaign and previews the big Old Firm showdown, while Nigeria star Balogun also expresses his pride at helping Rangers clinch ‘55’ and discusses playing on the international stage.”
Alongside a picture of the beaming smile of the man who haunts the dreams of Celtic supporters everywhere in Ryan Kent, the club’s website takes a dig at comments made by Celtic in the aftermath of our 55th title win.
Celtic famously claimed “we’re not half of anything” in the aftermath of government complaints over fan celebrations when Rangers famously won the title.
The salty tweet also tried to shoehorn a new club dig in with all the grace, well, with all the grace we probably expected as we sent Terry Munro on his way once and for all.
Rangers fans couldn’t get enough of the Celtic tweets when they happened as the Parkhead club appeared to float from one disaster to the next in the aftermath of the title win.
Here’s some of the best reactions to the Tweet at the time as Ibrox supporters were sent into stitches by the saltiness of the Parkhead club’s official account.
