The referee has been confirmed for Rangers’ Premiership clash with Ross County at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.

After a run of three draws in their last four home league matches, the Gers are looking for a win to ensure they take a lead of at least four points into the international break.

The Staggies are at the other end of the table, but they hammered Dundee 5-0 at Dens Park last time out and will be looking to cause an upset in Govan.

It’s the second time the two teams have met this season, with the Gers winning the first encounter 4-2 in Dingwall courtesy of goals from Joe Aribo, Connor Goldson, Alfredo Morelos and Scott Arfield.

The man set to be in charge of the contest is David Munro [Scottishfa.co.uk].

He’s an inexperienced referee at top-flight level and has only officiated Rangers matches on two previous occasions.

One of them was the first meeting between the Gers and the Staggies earlier this season during which he awarded the hosts a penalty, but the Light Blues have won both matches he’s taken charge of [Transfermarkt].

The assistant referees for the match will be Calum Spense and David Doig, while Gavin Duncan has been appointed as fourth official.

Ahead of the game, Rangers have confirmed special pre-match Ibrox plans.
