Rangers have confirmed that the club will mark Remembrance Day on Sunday ahead of the Premiership fixture against Ross County at Ibrox.
Remembrance Day itself falls next Thursday so Remembrance Sunday is next weekend, but as that’s during the international break, Rangers are going to pay their respects a week early.

Supporters in the Sandy Jardine Stand are set to take part in a special card display prior to the 3pm kick-off, with veterans leading the two teams out and representatives from each branch of the armed forces carrying poppies out to the centre circle.
A minute’s silence will then be held in honour of those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.
As usual, the Rangers players will also wear special commemorative poppy shirts for the match, most of which will be donated to charity at a later date to raise money for serving personnel and veterans.

When asked about the plans on Friday, Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister said [RangersTV]:
“We’re very proud of Remembrance Day when it happens at Ibrox. It’s very poignant and we fully support it.”
“The way our fans appreciate it and the way our players go out and produce on that day is always a nice thing to see.”
Rangers go into the game with a four-point lead at the top of the Premiership table, while Ross County are rock bottom.
However, the Staggies did record a shock confidence-boosting 5-0 win at Dundee last time out.
Meanwhile, a former Rangers World War I hero has received special recognition for his services.
