Rangers are taking on Hearts this afternoon, in the semi-final of the Scottish League Cup at Hampden Park.
It’s a huge game for the Gers, who are looking to set up an Old Firm final.
Major silverware has eluded the club for years, but Steven Gerrard is looking to reverse that trend [Scottish Herald], having lost out at this stage to Aberdeen last season.

There’s plenty of upheaval at Hearts right now, with Craig Levein removed from his post as manager in midweek. Yet, despite their struggles in the league, they took points off Rangers at Tynecastle a fortnight ago and shouldn’t be underestimated.
Ahead of the game, there were several fitness concerns for the Gers.
Allan McGregor sat out Wednesday night’s clash against Ross County with a knock, while Ryan Kent was absent from training on Friday.
Yet, both players have been deemed fit to start against the Jambos. McGregor comes in for Wes Foderingham, while Ryan Kent replaces Scott Arfield.

The manager has plucked for the same back four that turned out in Dingwall, but there’s an alteration in midfield, with Steven Davis coming in to replace Joe Aribo.
Fit-again Jon Flanagan returns to the squad, but there’s no place in the 18 for Greg Stewart or Andy King.
