Ryan Kent could be a major absentee for the League Cup semi-final between Rangers and Hearts on Sunday after he apparently sat out of training on Friday.
Rangers released a gallery of photos and video footage from their penultimate session ahead of the Hampden showdown.
The players can be seen emerging from the changing rooms, going through stretching and then taking part in a full session, including possession drills and football tennis.
Yet, Kent was nowhere to be seen.
It was widely expected that he would be fit to play after Gerrard explained he was managing the winger’s workload by leaving him out of the midweek trip to Ross County [BT Sport].
However, it now looks as if he may be nursing an issue of some kind.

The £7.5 million deadline day signing from Liverpool [Sky Sports] is one of the club’s most dynamic players, but he’s yet to complete 90 minutes since joining permanently, making just four appearances in two months.
If Kent is to miss out through injury, it’s a considerable blow for the Gers. It will open up a spot for one of the clubs many other wide players, though.
Sheyi Ojo, Jamie Murphy and even Brandon Barker, who declared himself fit despite being forced off injured against Motherwell last weekend [Official Rangers Podcast], are expected to be available.
