Rangers winger Brandon Barker has spoken to the Official Rangers Podcast ahead of Sunday’s League Cup semi-final against Hearts.
There has been an injury cloud hanging over the player after he was substituted before half-time against Motherwell last weekend having landed awkwardly on his shoulder.

The knock kept him out of the squad to face Ross County in Dingwall on Wednesday evening, but it seems as though he’s ready if required at Hampden.
Rangers winger Barker fit for Hearts semi-final
‘I was bit unfit when I came,” Barker told the Official Rangers Podcast. “I’ve had a proper four, five, six weeks training now. I feel fit I feel ready to go, and I’m just looking forward to the up and coming games and you know competing for things with Rangers Football Club.”

Verdict
These are encouraging words from the 23-year-old ahead of what is a massive fixture for the Gers.
Steven Gerrard’s side fell at this hurdle last season, losing 1-0 to Aberdeen, but the squad is much improved this time around and on a mission to pick up silverware.
If Barker is fit, it isn’t beyond the realms of possibility that he would start at Hampden. He was a surprise inclusion against Porto in the Europa League earlier this month, after all.
The pacey wide man has one goal in seven appearances to date for the Gers and is clearly itching for the chance to add to that come Sunday.
