Rangers saw off Ayr United in a game that we should have put to bed earlier with Philippe Clement’s reward being another trip to Easter Road to face Hibernian.
The Gers boss was happy with being able to rotate his squad and still get the job done, fielding a team with seven changes in front of a packed Ibrox.
With only Morton featuring from the lower leagues, Rangers were never going to get an “easy” draw and Hibernian is probably one of the more favourable ones.
