Rangers goalkeeping coach Colin Stewart reportedly loves Jack Butland, who is on loan at Manchester United from Crystal Palace at the moment.
Colin Stewart fan of Rangers target Jack Butland
The Daily Record have reported that Rangers want to sign Butland in the summer transfer window.
The former Scottish Premiership champions are reportedly on the hunt for a new goalkeeper.
The report has claimed that “Rangers goalkeeping coach Colin Stewart is a big fan” of the 30-year-old goalkeeper.
View: Good potential signing for Rangers
In our view, Jack Butland would be a good signing for Rangers in the summer transfer window.
The Englishman is 30 now and has his best years ahead of him.
That Manchester United signed him on loan underlines his quality and how highly he is rated in the footballing community.

Butland, who earns £40,000 per week as salary (SalarySport), has extensive experience in English football, and we believe that he would be able to hit the ground running in the Scottish Premiership.
Rangers do need a young goalkeeper for the future, and, in our opinion, the Englishman would be a very good signing for Michael Beale’s side.
As reported by The Scottish Sun, Butland is out of contract at Palace at the end of the season, so Rangers would be able to sign him on a free transfer.
