According to the Scottish Daily Mail [print edition, 05/03/21 p.86], the Parkhead side are winning the race for the highly-rated striker who has impressed in League One this season.

Joseph was first linked with a move to Leicester by the Sun whilst the Mirror had Rangers, Celtic, and Arsenal named alongside the player.

A Scotland youth international who still has some ways to go to prove himself in the game, should Joseph opt for a move to Parkhead it won’t come as the biggest blow to Rangers.

The striker has scored five goals in 12 games so far this season for Wigan and is yet to prove himself at the highest level.

Joseph isn’t the only striker reportedly being linked with a pre-contract move to Rangers either.

This Ibrox side are reportedly leading the chase to sign Zambian forward Fashion Sakala, 23, who is on fine form in the Belgian Pro Jupiler League this season.
