Rangers have been tipped to make a major profit on left-back Borna Barisic as the defender prepares to head to the European Championships with Croatia.
The Ibrox full-back has been a giant for the club all season and his development has been evident over the course of the last two seasons in particular.

Now, the man who mentored Barisic as a youth believes the full-back is already of Premier League quality and has suggested the club could make a hefty profit on the player after Euro 2020.
Alan Petkovic – the former sporting director of NK Osijek – reckons that plenty of clubs will be watching the left-back ahead of the summer’s tournament.
“We played against Rangers in the Europa League and we were disappointed to get knocked out,” said Petkovic [Scottish Sun].
“But Steven Gerrard saw how good Borna was over those two games.
“We did a deal and Borna has shown that his manager was right. He has been a fantastic player for Rangers.
“He is now ready for a higher level. He could play in the English Premier League no problem.
“I am 100 percent sure of that.
“He is Croatia’s No 1 left-back and they are a national team ranked as one of the world’s best.
“Borna is doing extremely well at a very good club and football people will know all about him.
“He has had a great season, with many good performances, assists and free-kicks.

“There will be a lot of clubs watching him at the Euros. What happens then is up to them.
“But I would say that probably all the big clubs in the top leagues know about him already.”
The full-back is contracted to Ibrox until 2024 and the power is very much in Rangers’ hands when it comes to this influential 28-year-old’s future.
Such has been the strength of Borna’s performances in the past the left-back has been linked to the likes of Serie A sides Roma and Napoli previously.

More recently, Borna has been linked to Premier League clubs like Leeds United and even to a £22m move to Tottenham Hotspur.
Whilst Rangers fans will be hoping to keep a hold of Barisic, one summer target has agreed to join the Gers ahead of a host of top European clubs this summer.
