Rangers star Glen Kamara currently has the best pass completion rate in the Premiership, with Celtic linchpin Callum McGregor in second place [Daily Record].

Kamara has been in superb form so far this season, particularly in European competition, with the Finland international playing every minute of the Gers’ ongoing Europa League campaign.

He’s only started 13 of his side’s 20 league matches, but his stats reflect the quality he brings to proceedings each time he’s deployed.

Rangers are currently sitting pretty at the top of the table and Kamara is out in front as the most reliable passer in the division.

The 25-year-old boasts a remarkable pass completion rate of 91.3%, which ensures Callum McGregor of Celtic only comes in second with 90.9% [Daily Record].

Gers centre-back Leon Balogun is a something of a surprise inclusion in third with 90.4%, proving that there’s more to the Nigeria international’s game than sheer athleticism.

There are a further four Ibrox stars in the top ten, with Ryan Jack in fourth (90.1), Ryan Kent seventh (88.6), Joe Aribo eighth (88.3) and Steven Davis ninth (88.2).

With Kamara leading the way and six Gers stars in the top ten, it’s yet another reflection of Rangers’ dominance so far this season.

Not only do they currently have a 16-point lead at the top of the table, but the Light Blues have scooped the vast majority of SPFL awards on offer, including three Manager of the Month awards for Steven Gerrard as well as multiple Player of the Month and Goal of the Month accolades.

There’s still a long way to go before the title is secured, though, and with Scott Arfield and Ryan Jack both currently out injured, there’ll be even more responsibility on Kamara to produce high-level performances in the coming weeks.

He may also be required to guide a talented midfielder through his first Premiership start on Wednesday afternoon when the Gers take on St Mirren in Paisley.
