Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has been earning the plaudits on Scotland duty and showing that he deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as a £75m Hampden duo.
The Ibrox midfielder is Rangers’ main representative in the nation’s first-team and has cemented his place in the first XI over the course of his 10 caps with this country.

Named the country’s Man of the Match in Scotland’s disappointing 1-0 defeat to Israel, industrious midfielder Jacko has shown himself to be more than capable at international level.
A technically astute player with a bite who is also disciplined tactically, Jack’s exposure to European football and Steven Gerrard’s management has seen him develop into a key player for club and country.
Playing alongside Celtic star Calum McGregor – who was valued at £25m in reports linking him to Leicester in the summer – Jack has shown himself to be the perfect folly to the Parkhead man.
Just in front of them, Aston Villa’s John McGinn is also a standout Scotland performer with the ex-Hibs star making up Scotland’s starting midfield trio.
McGinn – who has been making a big impression on the English Premier League down south – was linked with a £50m move to Manchester United in the summer.

With a wealth of competition in the middle of the park, it says something about Jack that he’s earned his spot in the nation’s starting XI alongside these two highly-rated players.
Whilst we’re not going to mention any valuations or bum Jack up in this way – it certainly shows that more than just have a useful player Rangers have a real asset in the ex-Aberdeen skipper.
