Rangers star Nathan Patterson has been an additional bright light in a season full of them for the Gers and the youngster has been recognised as such by his peers.
Academy graduate Patterson, 19, is one of four players in the running for the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award for season 20/21.
Patterson has been nominated for the award by fellow footballing professionals and is up against Hibs’ Josh Doig, St Johnstone’s Ali McCann and Celtic’s David Turnbull.
Rangers star Patterson is also in the running for the Football Writers’ Young Player of the Year award this season.
However, Patterson’s season has been ended prematurely by a Covid-19 ban which was upheld by the SFA.
The Ibrox kid controversially attended a house party in Glasgow’s west end with four other Gers teammates who’ve since become known as the Covid Five.
After Patterson broke through into the side following an injury to James Tavernier, his stands as the biggest disappointment of the bunch with a breakthrough season put on ice.
The situation could yet have a major impact on this award as Patterson has not played anywhere near as much as the other players included on this list.

Rangers fans also harbour outside hopes of Patterson being included in the Scotland Euros squad this season and they too might have been ended by the six-match ban for the high-profile breach.
The Ibrox support was also up in arms this week as a leading Gers star was “robbed” of recognition for his performances and contribution this season.
