Rangers star man Joe Aribo has received praise from an ex-teammate Ayo Obileye who declares he has the quality to thrive in the Premier League.
Aribo has arguably been Rangers’ best performer this season, with a total of six goals and four assists going a long way to move the Ibrox side seven points clear at the top of the league.

He has been linked with Crystal Palace, Watford, and Brentford recently [DailyRecord] whilst Steven Gerrard may yet try to entice his former player down to the Premier League in the January window.
With 18 months left on his contract, the quicker Giovanni van Bronckhorst ties him down the better. His current form hasn’t gone unnoticed in Scotland either, with former teammate and Livingston defender Ayo Obileye lavishing praise upon him.
“Joe is a great player,” Obileye said [allnigeriasoccer].
“When I was with him at Charlton Athletic you got to see the potential, he has and I’m happy he is showing it on the big stage.
“The ball is in his court whether he decides to stay at Rangers for a few more years or move to the Premier League.
“I think he could play in the Premier League, but that decision is up to him.”
A Premier League move could entice Joe Aribo as Ayo Obileye gives Rangers praise
A move down south could well be the next logical step for the 25-year-old, he keeps getting better and better and will eventually decide that a move is best for his development.
The main aim is for Rangers to hold onto him for as long as possible. If the club harbours ambitions to qualify for the Champions League group stages and play against the elite, then we need the best starting XI at our disposal.

These words from a former teammate will surely give Aribo more confidence and we should just enjoy the player whilst he is at Ibrox.
