The Colombian striker “categorically” picked the knock up on international duty with his country and Rangers were dealt a major blow with their talismanic forward ruled out for the campaign.

Rangers released a statement earlier in the week claiming the player will not return until pre-season with Alfredo Morelos now breaking his own silence regarding the situation.
Taking to social media, Alfredo Morelos was defiant in response to the injury and promises to bounce back stronger.

Van Bronckhorst insists Rangers can cope without Alfredo Morelos
Meanwhile, Rangers manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst insists his squad can cope without the club’s leading goal scorer as the Gers continue to challenge on three fronts.
Speaking ahead of the Europa League quarter final against Braga, van Bronckhorst has called for focus ahead of the crunch clash.
“I believe [we have the squad to cope],” said van Bronckhorst [Rangers].
“As I said before, we’re disappointed by the loss of Morelos but in five questions, four have included Morelos so that means he’s a very important player.
