Rangers star Joe Aribo says he is “buzzing” to have Ryan Jack back amongst the squad as the club provide a positive injury update over four Ibrox players.

The Nigerian international paid tribute to Jack after boss Steven Gerrard revealed the Scotland midfielder would be returning to the squad for the match against Ross County.

Speaking to the press ahead of the match, Gerrard would also reveal that a decision will be taken later today on whether or not Kemar Roofe would be involved in some capacity.

“Katic is progressing well,” said Gerrard [Rangers].

“Arfield also progressing well and hopefully on track for a return early Feb to the group.

“Ryan Jack is back in the squad for tomorrow. Kemar Roofe we will make a decision on today as he returns to training.

“We’ve missed Jack for sure, he is a big player and character so to have him back and fighting for a starting slot is an immense boost for everyone connected with the club.

“He can help us moving forward massively.”

Aribo would then take to the press after Gerrard and the 24-year-old midfielder also praised Jack’s influence as the popular player returns to the squad.

“The boys are buzzing to have Ryan Jack back in training and has been great to have him in with the group,” said Aribo [Rangers].

Rangers will be buoyed by the potential additions of Jack and Roofe whilst fans will take heart at the suggestion Scott Arfield could be back within the fortnight.

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard also provided a transfer update amid numerous links to players across the UK and Europe.
