Rangers star Alfredo Morelos is closing in on an outstanding achievement, with the striker now just three goals away from 100 for the club.
There’s been plenty of transfer speculation about the Colombia international over the course of the summer window and his late return following a post-Copa America break was certainly a blow for the group.

However, it hasn’t taken him long to get back up to speed again.
The club’s record European goalscorer netted against Malmö in the Champions League qualifying defeat at Ibrox earlier this month and in Thursday’s Europa League playoff first leg against Alashkert.
Then, on Sunday, he backed up his European efforts with a first Premiership goal of the campaign against Ross County.
The 25-year-old was excellent in Dingwall, with his inch-perfect left-footed finish to put the Gers 3-1 up far from his only contribution, as he assisted Joe Aribo’s opener and played a big part in the fourth goal scored by Scott Arfield.
Now, ahead of a big week for the club, he stands on the verge of a major achievement.
Morelos has 97 Rangers goals to his name from 187 appearances, a truly remarkable record.
Getting to 100 would cement his status as a modern Ibrox goalscoring legend and if he could reach the milestone in an Old Firm, then even better.
A goal or two in Yerevan on Thursday afternoon would set things up nicely for the weekend and supporters will be hoping he stays for at least the rest of the season to push on well beyond the century mark.
Glen Kamara assisted Morelos’ goal against the Staggies and Steven Gerrard has provided an injury update on the midfielder after he was subbed off in the second half.
