Here are the Rangers squad numbers for the 2024/25 season.
Philippe Clement and Nils Koppen sanctioned just three permanent transfers across the January 2025 window.
Rafael Fernandes bolstered the club’s defensive options as he made a loan switch to Ibrox until the end of the season from Lille.
That proved to be the only new arrival for Rangers, who also waved goodbye to Zak Lovelace and Alex Lowry.
Lovelace moved back down to Millwall while Lowry opted to sign for English League One side Wycombe Wanderers.
It means just a handful of changes to the Rangers squad numbers at the halfway point of the 2024/25 season.

No other goalkeeper at Rangers is more deserving of the No1 jersey than Jack Butland.
2 – James Tavernier
Previously worn by (selected): Dorian Goian, Maurice Edu, Allan Hutton, Andy Webster, Fernando Ricksen
The captain has worn the No2 shirt since signing for Rangers in 2015 from Wigan Athletic.
3 – Ridvan Yilmaz
Previously worn by (selected): Calvin Bassey, Joe Worrall, Declan John, David Weir, Craig Moore
Ridvan Yilmaz took the No3 jersey at the start of the 2022/23 season following a transfer from Besiktas.
4 – Robin Propper

New defensive addition Robin Propper has taken the shirt number vacated by John Lundstram at the beginning of the summer.
5 – John Souttar

John Souttar was assigned the No16 shirt on his arrival to the club from Hearts before earning No5.

The future of the Nigerian forward isn’t exactly clear so the No9 shirt could be vacated again this summer.

With Steven Davis vacating this shirt number last season, Mohamed Diomande has moved to claim it after wearing No42.
