Rangers have released a statement to supporters ahead of the clash with Borussia Dortmund amid a yellow weather warning in Glasgow.

Travel times are expected to be delayed by the issues with Rangers urging fans to get to the stadium as early as possible due to access into the ground.

This concerns the fact the club is employing a larger than normal barrier at the corner of the Broomloan Road and Sandy Jardine stands to accommodate the away Dortmund support.

As a result All supporters in the Broomloan Rear will have to enter the stadium via turnstiles 57-60 which are located in the south of the Broomloan Road Stand.

Supporters who are in the Broomloan Front should enter the stadium via turnstiles 61-66. Please note turnstiles will be closed 67-68. Again, please arrive as early as possible.

The Ibrox side have also warned of Covid-19 checks ahead of the sell-out match which promises to be a special game for the Rangers support.

Here’s the statement:

“All Rangers supporters attending tonight’s sold out Europa League match, please read the following information.

“Due to weather conditions potentially affecting travel times supporters are advised to allow extra time to travel to Ibrox this evening.

“Additionally, Police barriers will be in place before the match in the North-West Corner of the stadium footprint. Please be aware that the barriers are larger than usual due to the increased number of away supporters.

“Rangers fans will not be able to access the stadium footprint from Broomloan Road or traverse the barriers. Please access the stadium footprint from Edmiston Drive, Harrison Drive or Mafeking Street.

“It is the current intention to open the barriers post-match to allow access around the stadium but this is subject to police agreement, if the barriers are in place post-match supporters will be advised.

“All supporters in the Broomloan Rear will have to enter the stadium via turnstiles 57-60 which are located in the south of the Broomloan Road Stand. Please arrive as early as possible to aid access to the stadium as turnstile numbers are more limited than usual.
