It’s no secret Rangers are interested in signing Liverpool’s Ryan Kent.
The tricky winger is a fan favourite at Ibrox after a sterling season in light blue last campaign and the club want him back for a title tilt.
Now, according to reports down south, Rangers are in the driving seat to tie the 22-year-old down on another season long-loan.

Birmingham Live is claiming that Rangers “remain hopeful” of signing Kent and claim the Anfield winger “remains likely” to return to Ibrox.
That’s despite reports last week claiming that Liverpool are holding out to sell the striker in this window.
The report claims that Birmingham outfit Aston Villa are not interested in signing Kent, despite speculation to the contrary.
They also mention the potential interest from Leeds United and Middlesbrough, claiming that Boro’s interest has now “hit the wall”.
If you couple that with the fact Leeds have just had wingers Jack Clarke and Jack Harrison loaned back to them, with a deal for wide man Helder Costa reportedly imminent, then they look out of the race also.

Now it’s over to Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp who’ll make a decision on Liverpool’s Ryan Kent during pre-season.
Unless the German opts to keep Kent around at Anfield, reports suggest it’s looking increasingly likely he’ll be at Ibrox next season.
