Premier League Tottenham Hotspur have signed Leeds United winger Jack Clarke for a reported £10m in what is their first buy since Lucas Moura joined the club in 2018.
But before you begin to think that Leeds have just banked enough to pursue Ryan Kent, 18-year-old Clarke has just been sent back on loan to Elland Road.
That means that Jack Clarke will be a part of Leeds United’s squad next season. So what does that mean for the Championship side’s reported pursuit of Liverpool’s Ryan Kent?
The Yorkshire club have also managed to secure the season-long loan of Manchester City youth starlet Jack Harrison this week.
Similarly to the Rangers situation with Ryan Kent, Leeds had Harrison on loan last season. The 22-year-old played 42 times for Leeds in the last campaign.
Leeds United are also said to be “close” to signing Wolves winger Helder Costa, which would give Leeds plenty of options out wide for the season ahead.

Leeds reportedly had a loan bid turned down for Kent by Liverpool [Goal.com] and this looks to have affected their pursuit of the winger.
All three of the wingers mentioned above are set or could be set to join the club on loan.
Any Kent move to Rangers would need to be a loan deal but reports have suggested Liverpool are holding out to try and secure a full transfer in this window first.
