Rangers are set to travel to Easter Road to face Hibernian this coming Friday in what promises to be a feisty clash in Edinburgh.
The Ibrox side is usually well tested when they take a trip up the M8 and under new boss Jack Ross Hibs will be hoping it is the same this time around.
For Rangers, the club will need to prove their bottle by taking an important three points back from Auld Reekie without the help of Colombian firebrand Alfredo Morelos.

The 27-goal striker may have got his obligatory goal against Motherwell, but the resultant celebrations were harshly deemed worthy of a second yellow card and an eventual red.
There’s little doubt that Morelos should be a substantial miss for Rangers heading into a tie where you feel Steven Gerrard’s side will need to be at their best to collect a valuable three points.
That said, 13-goal Jermain Defoe isn’t exactly a bad replacement for the in-form striker and given he netted a hattrick in the 6-1 win over Hibs at the start of the season he has previous against the Hibees.
Taking Morelos out aside we see very little chance of Steven Gerrard freshening up his XI, unless Steven Davis returns from injury.

The injured Northern Irish captain [Rangers] hasn’t been seen since the 2-2 draw with Aberdeen with Gary McAllister suggesting he will return before the end of 2019 [Rangers].
Assuming he doesn’t make the cut for Rangers visit to Easter Road to play Hibernian, we imagine that Jermain Defoe will be the only change to the XI which beat Motherwell 2-0 at Fir Park.
