After Rangers dismantled FC Midtjylland 4-2 in Denmark last night, it puts one and a half feet in the Playoff Round of Europa League qualifying.
The Ibrox club produced an all-action, sweeping, dominant display in Herning made even more impressive by the fact it was on the road.
FC Midtjylland now need to score three at Ibrox next week to progress to the Playoff round.

As that looks very unlikely, Rangers will have one eye on who they’ll be facing in the next round.
Should Rangers make it through the round, they’ll play either Legia Warsaw of Poland or Atromitos of Greece.

But which of the two we’ll be playing next is no clearer after a first-leg stalemate between the sides.
Legia are of course heavy favourites for the tie but were held to a stuttering draw by the Greek outfit.
But with Atromitos failing to register an away goal, it means Legia can make a huge stride to the next round should they score in Athens.
Rangers avoided the likes of Wolverhampton Wanderers and PSV Eindhoven in the Playoff Round draw with the trip to either Poland or Greece suiting this Rangers side on paper.

But with neither of the two teams taking the advantage in Warsaw, the tie remains open going into next week.
The same, thankfully, does not appear to be the case for Rangers and FC Midtjylland.
