Rangers winger Kai Kennedy will make a loan switch to Raith Rovers “within the next 24 hours” as the ink dries on a new deal at Ibrox, according to the Glasgow Times.
Kennedy putting pen to paper on a new deal at Ibrox comes after months of negotiations with the likes of Man City and Bayern Munich reportedly tailing the youngster [Daily Record].

But after a successful loan spell at Inverness Caledonian Thistle the Ibrox side are reportedly set to send Kennedy out to Raith with the move to be announced any moment now.
Whilst Kennedy signing a new deal at Ibrox has been universally welcomed by the Gers support, some may well be disappointed that Kennedy is set to move on immediately.
There were plenty of Rangers fans hopeful that Kennedy, despite only being 18, would be handed an opportunity in the first team in the second half of the season.
With the likes of Jordan Jones reportedly being available for transfer and Greg Stewart struggling to break into the side, for some fans the club would be better served bleeding the talented youngster.
But for now Rangers clearly see Kennedy’s short-term future out on loan even if they see his long-term future at Ibrox.

Kennedy was a revelation at Inverness Caledonian Thistle, and he will be hoping to continue his fine form should his move to Raith Rovers become official.
Here’s how the Rangers support reacted to the news that Kennedy was set to sign a new deal after six months of protracted negotiations.
