Rangers partners team up with Manchester United and England legend

Rangers’ retail partners Castore have announced a new three-year partnership with Manchester United and England legend Gary Neville.

The Liverpool-based retailers have taken sizeable steps in the sporting world over the last 12 months as they look to establish themselves as a leading sportswear brand.

As part of this, they have amassed an impressive portfolio of partners which continues to grow even amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Of these, Rangers remain the only football club but Neville joins the likes of Tennis legend Sir Andy Murray, England Rugby captain Owen Farrell and elite Olympian swimmer Adam Peaty as brand partners.

The new deal will see Castore become the technical, performance and lifestyle sportswear partner of now Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville.

“Gary is an icon. A respected and integral part of football, knowledgeable and analytical, his expertise brings the game to life,” said Pascal Lafitte, head of team partnerships at Castore [Castore].

“His attitude is inspirational, and his passion is unquestionable. An ethos that perfectly fits the Castore brand.”

Gary Neville – who played over 600 times for Manchester United across 19 seasons, winning 20 major honours and earning 85 England caps in the process – also expressed his delight at the deal.

“I’m delighted to work with Castore, a truly innovative and exciting British brand, created by athletes, to make athletes better,” said Neville.

“They’re on a mission to make the highest quality sportswear in the world, and they’re challenging the market like no other, so I’m proud to join them and be part of their mission.”

Alongside the aforementioned names, Nevilla joins the likes of cricketer Jos Butler MBE, the Sri Lankan cricket team and F1 team McLaren as Castore ambassadors.

Rangers might not be the only football club affiliated with the emerging brand either come next season.

According to reports coming from down south, the brand has two partnerships with Premier League football clubs in the pipeline for next season.
